Hello!

Happy New Year – in Rotary, of course we are half way through our year.

  1. Have you made any New Year’s Resolutions? Perhaps I can help and it does not require dieting or getting on a treadmill. Here are three ideas:
  2. Ask a friend, neighbor, or co-worker to a club meeting. It is amazing how many people want to know more about Rotary but were never asked.
  3. Decide to take more of an active role in your club – attend more meetings, join a committee, or join or volunteer at the District Level.
  4. Challenge yourself to attend a Rotary District Conference – this year Tri-Con in the Dells https://tricon2018.eventgrid.com/Page/31081/registrations

Enclosed is Lakeland/Minocqua – Rotary orientation. Please give them credit but you can use. Did you know our membership District-wide is in the net positive for the first time in several years? Keep up the excellent work but PLEASE let’s orient our new members well so they grow into great Rotarians!

Announcing the BIG District 6220 Video CONTEST!!!!

Ok Here is a chance to make your club famous!

We need a District Video about What is Rotary – Please get together with your club, Rotaract, Interact, RYE to make a video – similar to this One www.youtube.com/watch?v=coqag4TufB0

Hello Fellow Rotarians in District 6220!

As our Fall is winding down and we look to the Holiday season I wanted to update everyone several topics.

Club Visits

It was a great honor and very enjoyable to visit every club in the District!  So many clubs are doing amazing local and international projects.  Please don’t forget to pat yourself on the back and get the word out on your club’s excellent work. We can’t be in the media too much!  At a recent Rotary Regional meeting, a speaker said, “Use Rotary to move yourself into local and global service”!  What a great thought!  If your club does not have a Public Image/Media Savvy person – think strategically of recruiting one.
